The Government of Palestine ought to patronize local firms in making purchases of supplies. This demand was forwarded to the Government in a memorandum submitted by the Jewish Chamber of Commerce of Jaffa. Government and army officials recently ceased ordering goods from Palestine firms and have, instead, been receiving their supplies from Crown agents.
