James M. Rosenberg, longtime Jewish leader and gifted painter, offered today some of his paintings to anyone making a contribution of at least $500 for each painting to the Israel Emergency Fund of the United Jewish Appeal. Thirty Rosenberg paintings were displayed in a one-man show at the Sindlin-Harris Galleries in Manhattan and 12 remained unsold, from which the proposed gift is available.
