Jan. 27 could become a national day of Holocaust remembrance in the Czech Republic next year. Speaking at a ceremony for Holocaust victims held Monday in the Czech Senate, Education Minister Petra Buzkova told guests that a bill may be put before Parliament this year to make the date a state holiday.
