Jan de Koning Netherlands Minister for Development Aid, has again rejected a request of The Netherlands Palestine Committee for an annual subsidy of 35,000 Guilders ($17,500). The committee had wanted this subsidy to enable it to engage in full-time organizing. De Koning rejected the request despite positive recommendation by the National Advisory Commission for Development Aid. He said the committee seeks the destruction of Israel.
