Japanese Cooperation Reportedly Sought for Building Shipyard in Israel

Japanese and Israeli officials have been conferring here on the possibility of Japanese cooperation in the building of a huge shipyard near Haifa, it was reported here today.

It is understood that Israel seeks aid in the construction of a year with an annual capacity of 100,000 to 150,000 tons of new shipping and repair facilities for 1,000,000 tons of shipping annually.
