Japanese Delegation Arrives in Israel to Sign Pact on Building Ships

Officials of the Maisuru Shipyards in Japan arrived here today to sign an agreement with the Zim-Israel Navigation Company for the construction of two more ships. The vessels, two 55,000-ton bulk carriers, will cost $12,000,000 to build. The Japanese shipyard has orders for three other vessels to be delivered to Israeli shipping lines.
