Kuniji Oguro, a staff correspondent of Jiji Press, one of the two largest Japanese news agencies, tendered personal condolences today to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency on the loss of life in Tel Aviv in the shooting outburst by three Japanese. Jiji–Japanese for “news”–and JTA have their offices on the same floor at 660 First Avenue. Jiji, which is 27 years old, services Japanese newspapers and publishes a news bulletin here. The Japanese Mission also volunteered regrets to the JTA.
