The famous Jewish violonist, Jascha Heifitz, has agreed to give a recital, the entire proceeds of which will be put at the disposal of the Jewish World Relief Conference for relief activities in the Ukraine.
A cable message from New York has just been received here by the Executive Committee of the Jewish World Relief Conference from Mr. Heifetz to this effect.
A New York Committee of the Jewish World Relief Conference to help the suffering Jewish intellectuals in Eastern Europe, especially Russia, has been organized. Dr. A. J. Rongy is chairman. Arrangements have been completed by the Committee for the Heifetz concert at the Manhattan Opera House, on December 28.
