Jassy Medical College Closed Because of Riots

The Medical College of the University of Jassy was closed, a despatch to the “Pester Lloyd” from Jassy states.

The order to close the college was issued following the continuation of the anti-Semitic student riots. Several groups of students invaded the Jewish cemetery and destroyed many tombstones.
