JDC and Ose Collaborate to Provide Polish Jews in Russia with Medical Supplies

Shipment of medical supplies, which the Joint Distribution Committee is sending to Russia for relief of 2,000,000 Polish refugees there, of whom 600,000 are Jewish, will in the future be arranged through the collaboration of the J.D.C. and the American Committee of OSE, it was announced today in a joint statement by Joseph C. Hyman, executive vice-chairman of the J.D.C., and Dr. L. Wulman, secretary of the American Committee of OSE.

An advisory Committee of five physicians will examine the needs and requests for drugs, hospital and surgical supplies for the Polish refugees in Rus The members of the Advisory Committee are Drs. Alfred E. Cohn, J. J. Golub, A. Rongy, L. Wulman and J. Brutzkus Some $50,000 worth of medical supplies have ready been purchased by the J.D.C. for shipment to the Polish refugees in Russia.
