A call to 3,000 leaders of the Joint Distribution Committee for a national conference to consider “the pressing problems of Jewish relief and reconstruction abroad,” has been issued for Sunday, Dec. 13, at the Hotel Astor, it was announced today.
Speakers will include Felix M. Warburg, honorary chairman of the J.D.C. and chairman of its 1936 campaign; Paul Baerwald, chairman of the J.D.C.; Rabbi Jonah B. Wise, co-chairman of the campaign; Isidor Coons, national director of the campaign, and Joseph C. Hyman, secretary and executive director of the committee.
