The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee has allocated one million lire ($62,500) for relief of the earthquake victims in Sicily, it was announced here today by Louis D. Horowitz, director general of the JDC. Mr. Horowitz said “we have had the good fortune to work with Italian relief organizations on many projects and have great respect for them.”
