Forty-three Jewish youth organizations of Hudson County, New Jersey, will be represented at the first annual Jewish youth night, to be held this evening at the Jewish Community Center of Jersey City.
Dr. Mordecai Soltes, Jewish educator and national director of Jewish Extension Education of the Jewish Welfare Board, will discuss “The Role of the American Jewish Youth in the New Order.” Following his address, four speakers will discuss problems affecting Jewish youth. They include Benjamin Rosenbaum, “The Role of the Jewish Youth in World Peace”; Miss Rosalie Wahl, “The Education of the Jewish Youth”; Herman Klausner, “How Will the Jewish Youth Fare Economically?”, and Israel Harold Mistovsky, “How Will the NRA. affect the Leisure of the Jewish Youth?”
Morris E. Barison, judge of the Juvenile and. Domestic Relations court of Hudson County, and president of the council of Jewish Organizations of Hudson County, will preside. He will be introduced by Charles Nemser, executive director of the Jersey City Jewish Community Center. A musical program will be presented. Albert Weinberg of Bayonne is chairman of the arrangement committee. Other members of the committee include Nathan Goodman, Morris Pesin, Sophie Wise, William Auslander and Blanche Penchansky.
