A statement issued here by the Jerusalem executive of the Jewish Agency anent the death Sunday of Mrs. Nathan Straus said that the Agency “learns with profound sorrow the news of the death of Mrs. Lina Straus. Cooperating with her husband in all his life undertakings for the benefit of humanity, and particularly in his works on behalf of Palestine, her memory will live forever in the midst of the Jewish people, and most among the Jewish community of Palestine.”
