Ben Simon, Jewish worker who came here from Russia seven years ago, was sentenced to three months imprisonment followed by deportation for his part in a recent anti-Government demonstration.
During the demonstration, which was called to protest against the alleged flogging of political prisoners, Ben Simon, it was charged, urged the demonstrators not to disperse but to resist the police.
Four members of the Anti-Horthy League, bearing placards reading: “Hejjas a Mass Murderer,” “They Dishonored, Kossuth,” “Perenyl, a Hapsburg Lackey,” were arrested outside the White House when the Kossuth memorial delegation was received by Prealdent Coolidge.
