The municipality of Jerusalem today tendered a reception to Jacob Landau, managing director of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency who is now visiting Israel.
The affair was attended by members of the municipal council, representatives of various Zionist groups, leaders of local organizations and other prominent Jerusalemites, Mayor Daniel Auster spoke on the role of the J.T.A. in Jewish public life throughout the world. Mr. Landau reviewed the development of the news Agency since its establishment.
