The Y.M.H.A. Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of A. W. Binder, is to present the fifth monthly concert; in the regular monthly concert series, sponsored by the Department of Music at the Young Men’s Hebrew Association, 92nd Street & Lexington Avenue, on Sunday evening. March 19th, at 8:15 p.m., in the Theresa L. Kaufmann Auditorium.

Among the first diplomatic awards made by President Roosevelt, is the appointment of Jesse Isidor Straus, as Ambassador to France.

Reports received here by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency from its representative in France indicate the satisfaction of French Jewry with the appointment.

Franck and Chabrier is to be heard. The concert is free to the public.
