Owners of the New York Jets professional football team have changed the game time of this season’s first home game on Oct. 10 to accommodate observant Jewish fans. The starting time for the night game at Shea Stadium pitting the Jets against the Miami Dolphins, has been moved up to 8:45 p.m. Yom Kippur ends at about sundown that evening.
