Samuel Edelberg, a resident of this resort for many years, well known as a business man and civic leader throughout the Adirondack Mountain and Northern New York communities, has been elected president of the Saranac Lake Chamber of Commerce.

Shortly after this significant honor came to him, Mr. Edelberg was appointed by the national office of the Boy Scouts of America as Scout Commissioner of the Adirondack Council. This council is composed of scout troops in Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Malone, Tupper Lake and other communities in the northern section of New York State.
