Sol Feinberg has been appointed by President Hoover to his third term as Postmaster in charge of the main postoffice at this internationally known Adirondack Mountain resort. Postmaster Feinberg is now starting his ninth year in that position. He has been employed in the Lake Placid postoffice for 17 years, having started as a clerk.
His first appointment as Postmaster was made by the late President Warren Harding to fill a vacancy caused by the death of Mr. Feinberg’s superior. He was re-appointed for a four year term by former President Calvin Coolidge, and he will continue in office for a similar period by virtue of President Hoover’s appointment.
