A Polish Jew, named Solomon Dorman, who killed his fellow-countryman Zeiden, in a quarrel over an American dolar, was sentenced today by a jury to three years imprisonment.
The tragedy occurred some time ago on Grenadierstrasse, where a trade in foreign exchange was being conducted, when Dorman bought an American dollar from Zeiden. A little later, Dorman somehow got the impression that the bill for which he had paid so many thousand marks was a counterfeit, and in a frenzy attacked Zeiden with a knife, killing him instantly. The dollar bill was found to be a perfectly good one.
