The distinction of being the largest policyholder in the East has now fallen to Mrs. Shoshana Persitz, Vice-Mayor of the all-Jewish city of Tel Aviv, Palestine. The Judea Insurance Company, Ltd., of Palestine, a subsidiary of the Judea Industrial Corporation of New York, has just underwritten a policy of $50,000 on the life of this prominent and wealthy woman, the daughter of the well-known Zionist leader, Zlatopolsky, and member of the General Council of the World Zionist Organization.
Incidentally, this is the largest amount of insurance taken by any single person, man or woman, in Palestine. Mrs. Persitz is head of the Tel Aviv Educational Department.
