After an interval of six years, during which the Nazis destroyed the entire Jewish educational system, a Jewish school opened this week in Lodz. Three hundred children are enrolled. Schools for Jewish children have also been opened in Cracow, Richbach and in a number of other Polish towns. Since the Germans destroyed all Jewish textbcoks, a commission of Jewish teachers and writers was formed in Lodz this week to prepare new text books for the schools. In the meantime, a delegation will proceed to Moscow to secure the necessary texts.
