Jewish activists interrupted a rally in Los Angeles honoring those who saved lives and provided support during last week’s shooting rampage at a Los Angeles area Jewish community center. Members of the Jewish Defense League heckled California Gov. Gray Davis after he vowed to get assault weapons off the streets. “The Second Amendment is just as important,” yelled Irv Rubin of the JDL, referring to the right to bear arms. “Don’t leave yourself unarmed against those who want to murder you,” read a flier handed out by members of the JDL.
