Mobilization of the Jewish women of the Bronx into an organization to combat Nazi propagada in this country will take place at a tea and reception which 1,200 women are expected to attend at the Concourse Plaza Hotel on Wednesday afternoon. The new organization will identify itself with the activities of the Women’s of the American Jewish Cogress, of which Mrs. Stephen S. Wise is president.
Stephen S. Wise, honorary chiorman of the American Jewish Congress, will be the principal speaker. Mrs George Lion Cohen, a member of the national executive committe, will also address the group. The musical program is arranged by Willie Robyn of Roxy’s Radio Gang. Harry Hersh-fied is to be master of cermonies.
An effort similar to that in the Bronx will shortly be undertaken im Manhattan under the direction of Mrs. Jacob M. Ross.
DR. LIEBERMAN TO TELL ABOUT HIS PALESTINE TEIP
Dr. Elias Lieberman, principal of Thomas Jewfferson High School, will be the guest of honor at the fourth annual Paletine Festival of the League of the Jewish Youth to be held this afternnoon at the auditorium of City College, 23rd street and Lexington avenue.
A program of musical and dramatic entertainment, reflecting the spirit and beauty of Palestine, will be presented by a cast of seventy-five students. Dr. Lieberman will speak on “Some Thoughts on a Trip Through Palestine.”
