A campaign to raise funds for its twenty-five constituent agencies was announced by the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities at its headquarters, 94 Clinton street. The drive will commemorate the Federation’s twenty-fifth anniversary.

A dinner conference will be held at the Unity Club, Bedfor avenue and Dean street, Brooklyn, on February 27, at which time the date for opening the drive, the amount sought, and other details, will be discussed. Representatives of the ninety groups comprising the Trade and Membership council of the Federation will be allotted quotas at the conference.

The Federation, which was organized in 1909, is the community chest of the largest Jewish community in the world. During the past year, it has taken care of more than a million and a quarter cases, its affliates spending more than three million dollars in behalf of the needy.

The tweenty-five constituent societies of the Federation include the Brooklyn Hebrew Orphan Asylum, First Hebrew Day Nursery and Neighborhood House, Beth Moses Hospital, Jewish Hospital of Brookyn, East New York Dispensary, United Jewish Aid Societies, Brooklyn Hebrew Free Loan Asociation, Council of Jewish Women, Council Home for Jewish Girls, Brooklyn Jewish Social Service Bureau, Hebrew Educational society, Jewish Community House of Bensonhurst, Y. M. H. A. of Boro Park, Y. M. H. A. of Brooklyn, Y. M. H. A. of Williamsburg, Hebrew Free School of Brownsville, Glory of Isracl Hebrew Institute, Machzike Talmud Torah, Hebrew National School, and New Hebrew School of Brooklyn.

BULLOF WILL TAKE PART IN PURIM FESTIVAL

Joseph Bullof, well-known Jewish actor, will be among teh guest artists at the Purim Concert of The School of the Jewish Woman, Sunday evening, March 4th, at city college, Lexington avenue at 23rd Street. Others taking part in the program are Miss Teresa Turk, soprano; Dvora lapson, dncer of Palestinian dances; Leitb Glantz, internationally knonwn singer; Sadye Slatin, pianist, and The Jewish Little Symphony with the Conductor Weiss Rossmarin, director of the school, will speak.
