The Jewish Agency executive today approved a 1959-1960 budget totalling 235, 400, 000 pounds, an increase of 25, 000, 000 pounds over the budget for the previous one-year period.
Among the allocations were 75, 000, 000 pounds for settlement, 25, 000, 000 pounds for immigration and 34, 500, 000 pounds for immigrant housing. Other outlays were listed for immigrant health and educational services, youth and pioneering programs, and economic activities.
