The Jewish Agency executive approved today a budget of 111,000,000 pounds for the current Jewish year.
The largest single source of revenue in the budget is the anticipated receipts of the United Jewish Appeal. The Agency expects to spend 45,000,000 pounds for agricultural programs, 15,000,000 pounds to repay debts, 8,000,000 pounds for Youth Aliyah, 5,000,000 pounds for immigration purposes and 6,000,000 pounds for absorption expenses of immigrants.
