The Jewish Agency’s plenary session yesterday heard Moshe Kol, head of Youth Aliyah, report that the organization now maintains 240 educational institutions with 13,500 pupils most of them from Moslem countries.
Half of the Youth Aliyah budget is covered by the Jewish Agency and the rest by various campaigns, led by that of Hadassah in the United States. Mr. Kol urged that the Youth Aliyah be permitted to conduct its own fund-raising campaigns and urged all Zionist federations to aid the organizations programs.
