Jewish Agency Budget for 1951 is $120,400,000; Largest in History of Zionist Movement

The Jewish Agency budget of 43,000,000 pounds ($120,400,000) is the largest ever made available to the Zionist movement, Levi Eshkol, treasurer of the Agency, declared at a press conference here. He said that the Jewish National Fund would raise another 10,000,000 pounds, bringing the total funds available for 1951 to 53 million.

The Agency official declared that 117 agricultural settlements had been made economically self-supporting during the past year and the Agency now has to equip and consolidate 240 more settlements.
