The Zionist Actions Committee today approved an $8,400,000 budget for the Jewish Agency for the current fiscal year. The funds will be used for the health, educational, social welfare and other activities of the Palestine Jewish community.

Addressing the Actions Committee meeting, David Ben-Gurion warned that intensified political activity was required to force abandonment of the White Paper. He appealed for “stronger national discipline” in view of the critical times ahead.
