The Jewish Agency executive was convened in plenary session yesterday under the chairmanship of Dr. Nahum Goldmann to discuss a 100, 000,000 pound budget for the next six months.
The Agency’s budget, until now based on the Jewish Year, will henceforth be calculated from April 1 to March 31. The proposed six-months estimates cover the period from October 31 to the start of the new fiscal year. The budget, presented by treasurer Dov Joseph, was scheduled for adoption Thursday.
