The Jewish Agency executive approved today a 1961-62 budget totaling 184,240,000 pounds ($103,174,000) at a session at which former Premier Moshe Sharett was chairman.
The meeting heard reports of efforts to obtain a higher exchange rate from the Government for its overseas currency income. The executive decided that if the bid was successful, 75 percent of the increase in Israeli funds would be set aside for raising allocations to settlements.
