The Jewish Agency for Palestine today cabled Dr.James Bernstein, European director of the Hias-Ica Emigration Association, informing him that it has assigned 200 Palestine immigration certificates to Jewish refugees now interned in the Miranda camp in Spain.
One hundred and fifty of the certificates are to be granted to persons between 18 and 35 years of age; the remainder are to be given to refugees over 35 years old. The distribution of the certificates will be carried out in cooperation with the Lisbon office of the Hias-Ica.
