The Jewish Agency was making preparations today for the immediate reception and resettlement of the first group of expelled Egyptian Jews to come to Israel. They are due to arrive Tuesday.
The deported Jews arrived at Venice last Thursday. There they were met by Jewish Agency immigration personnel who immediately processed and transferred them to the S. S. Israel bound for Haifa. Twenty Hungarian Jewish refugees arrived in Israel today among some 800 immigrants debarked at Haifa.
