Jewish Agency officials today began preparing material on Palestine for the United Nations or any of the committees which the U.N. may establish to study the situation prior to its discussion at the General Assembly.
The Agency, it was learned here, is also contemplating starting a large-scale educational program among delegations at the United Nations and will send special envoys to various countries to present the Jewish side of the Palestine problem to local statesmen.
The executive of the Agency has summoned its members from Britain and the United States to a full session which will be held next week in the Hadassah Hospital here at the bedside of David Ben Gurion, who is ill. The members of the executive will discuss the British decision to submit the Palestine question to the U.N. and the present situation in Palestine. Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, Moshe Shertok, Dr. Moshe Sneh and Rabbi Wolf Gold will fly from the United States to attend the session.
