Itzhak Raphael, head of the immigration department of the Jewish Agency, arrived here today from Jerusalem to facilitate the movement of Jews from Tripolitania to Israel.
Mr. Raphael will confer with government officials and Jewish leaders in Tripoli and Cyrenaica on the emigration of Jews and on the transfer of their property to the Jewish state. The Agency official, who was enthusiastically greeted at the airport upon his arrival, reported that tens of thousands of Jewish children from North Africa are expected to arrive in Israel during the next few months.
