A report recommending that the Jewish Agency establish a central authority for Western immigration, integrating many offices now dealing separately with this problem, was being studied here today by a special Jewish Agency committee, headed by Moshe Sharett, chairman of the Agency.
The report surveyed overlapping in the absorption of immigrants from free countries as carried on by the Government of Israel, the Agency and political party bodies in this country.
