Aryeh Pincus, chairman of the Jewish Agency executive, disclosed today that action was under way on his proposal to arrange for an estimated 4, 000 Israeli students in the United States to become active among American Jewish students and on college campuses.
Reporting on a visit to France and the United States, he also said the Agency’s executive committee on immigration and absorption was working on a number of detailed proposals for rationalizing procedures for prospective immigrants from the United States.
Mr. Pincus reported that during his stay in the United States he conferred with American Jewish community leaders on various problems concerning the aid given by American Jewry to the Jewish Agency in its immigration and absorption work.
