A special debate will be held by the Jewish Agency executive to discuss the activities of the American Zionist Council, it was announced today by Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Zionist Organization. Dr. Goldmann told the executive that it is “most important” to assure the “energetic activities” of the American Zionist Council.
The Agency executive decided today to convene a preparatory committee here on December 18, to approve final plans for the 25th World Zionist Congress, which will open on December 27. Meeting under Dr. Goldmann’s chairmanship, the executive decided that the preparatory committee is to consist of 22 members, allocating the number of party seats on that committee on the ratio of the last World Zionist Congress.
