A proposal that the president of the World Zionist Organization shall have the right to raise problems of mutual interest to Israel and the Zionist movement before the Cabinet of Israel, has been readied by a special drafting committee of the Zionist Actions Committee, It was learned here today. The Jewish Agency executive is scheduled to discuss the drafting committee’s recommendations tonight.
Israel Premier David Ben Gurion is reported willing to accept the committee’s proposal with several conditions: Cabinet approval in principle of a discussion of the matter to be raised by the WZO president, and that the president would be present at a Cabinet session only if he had been invited to attend.
