The Polish Government has granted permission to the Jewish Agency to send a representative to Poland, it was learned here today.
At the same time, it was announced that a delegation of Polish Jews in Palestine will leave for Warsaw next week in response to an invitation from the Polish Government. They will study the prospects for emigration of Polish Jews to Palestine. The Government’s invitation stated that it will extend all possible help to persons desiring to emigrate to Palestine, provided that they obtain immigration certificates. Plans have been mapped for direct service by sea between Gdynia and Haifa.
