The Jewish altar of the Chapel of the Four Chaplains was formally dedicated here this week-end. The chapel honors the memory of four chaplains of the three major faiths who gave up their lifebelts to save other American soldiers on board a torpedoed U.S. troop ship during World War II. Mrs. Theresa Goode and her daughter were present at the ceremony dedicating the Jewish altar to Rabbi Alexander D. Goode, the Jewish member of the heroic quartet.
