Jewish and Catholic leaders from across Europe called on the world’s religious leaders to unite against racism, anti-Semitism and terrorism. In a statement issued at the end of a three-day conference in Paris, Catholic leaders reaffirmed their rejection of anti-Semitism and said “Christianity can, and must, never be used to justify violent words or actions against Jews.”
