Jewish Arbitration Courts Complain of Infringement

A complaint against the infringement of their rights was made by the Jewish arbitration courts in Palestine, which are known under their Hebrew name “Mishpat Ha’shalom.”

The arbitration courts claim that the authorities and law courts in various towns have in many cases acted against the decisions of the arbitration courts and interfered with their activities.

The Jewish arbitration courts have been in existence in Palestine for the last fifteen years and have gained the confidence of the Jewish population as a judicial authority.

The complaint of the arbitration courts was originally submitted to the Chief Justice, Whose reply was unsatisfactory. The matter was, therefore, referred to the High Commissioner.
