Many Jewish artists are represented in the annual art exihibition, known as the Autumn Salon, which opened here in the large salon of the Grand Palace.
The Jewish artists received favorable criticism in the press notices of this important event in artistic life. The sculptures of Mme. Chana Orlov and the paintings of Mme. Mela Muter were praised. The portraits by the young painter, Mane Katz and the works of Elizi Feder, Mondzain, Simon Levy and Leo Zak were commented upon.
