A number of Jewish artists who recently arrived in this country have given an exhibition of their paintings at the museum in Tel Aviv. There were Goldberg, Jaskel, Polack, Kubriansky, Rabinowitz, Chabor, Steinhardt and Schwartz.
Dr. Carl Schwartz, who was curator of the Jewish Museum in Berlin, has been appointed to the same position at the Museum of Tel Aviv. “The Jews in Art,” published in German, is one of Dr. Schwartz’s best-known books.
