An art exhibition displaying paintings and drawings by Fred Taubes, and etchings and woodcuts by Isaac Friedlander, is now open under the sponsorship of the women’s organization of Central Synagogue in the synagogue’s Community House. Mr. Taubes, who has spent some time in Jerusalem, contributed several canvasses treating Palestinian subjects and scenes, while Mr. Friedlander’s subjects, though not concentrated, show a wide range of Jewish interest.
The Polish Consul-General, Dr. Meiczyslaw Marchlewski spoke at the official opening of the art exhibit. The exhibition will continue until December 15th.
