Five Jewish athletes are part of the 135-member U.S. Olympic Winter Games contingent now going on in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia. The Jewish athletes are hockey player Tom Hirsch of Minneapolis, star of the University of Minnesota sextet; speedskater Jan Goldman of Glenview, III.; dance skaters Judy Blumberg of Summit, N.J. and Elisa Spitz of Wilmington, Del.; and Judy Rabinowitz of Fairbanks, Alaska, one of America’s five women skiers in a fine field of internationally renowned slope runners.
