Progress in curbing juvenile delinquency among Jews will be the chief topic of discussion at the annual dinner meeting of the Jewish Big Brothers, May 10, at the Ninety-second Street Y.M.H.A.
Professor Frederic M. Thrasher, an authority on delinquency prevention and author of “The Gang,” a study of Chicago’s gangdom, will speak on “The Big Brothers in a Community Program of Crime Prevention.” Other speakers listed on the program include Harold L. Bache, chairman of the Jewish Big Brothers, and George Z. Medalie former United States District Attorney and president of the Jewish Board of Guardians. Herbert Lippmann is chairman of the dinner committee.
